I love adding new pieces to our holiday decor collection every year. Each one holds a memory. Many of the pieces I have are from my time in NYC, and reminds me of living with different roommates, moving in with Dan, and all the holiday parties different friend groups would host.

This year, I have been looking for more coastal holiday decor because...well, we live in sunny Florida! Many of my pieces are a perfect fit for a cold climate, but it's 80 degrees outside. I added a few pieces this year to give our home a coastal vibe...
![]() | Instead of making holiday cookies this year, we made dehydrated oranges! We placed them on our garlands, as ornmanents on the tree, on our dinner plates as a christmas tree topper (see reference below). They add a warm pop of color and blend in with all our decor well. Sharing the process of how we made them here. |
A fun surprise leading up to Christmas day! I opted for a white advent calendar as a neutral tone against our coastal home. This will be fun to take out every year and fill with different treats. | |
I have always admired Christmas trees with bows. I tried it this year because we lost (majority) of our ornaments during our move. They make a preppy statement on our tree, and I love our navy blue bows for our coastal vibe (tip - get wired ribbon to hold the bow in place - linking ours here). |
